Caudwell Children launch bumper Christmas raffle
Caudwell Children, has teamed up with Zaffo.com to launch a Yuletide Christmas raffle.
Up for grabs is a bumper Christmas hamper, suitable for the whole family, and one lucky ticket holder will win a stash of goodies worth a cool £700!
The raffle will run from Friday 1st December to Sunday 17th December and tickets can be bought here.
The ground-breaking fundraising website will allow the charity to raise vital funds and engage with our community of supporters over the seasonal period.
“This is a fantastic prize,” said Laura Picket, Head of Marketing and PR at Caudwell Children. “It’s a luxurious selection of gifts that every family would want this Christmas.
“There’s a variety of TOMY Toys, including family favourites such as Screwball Scramble and Greedy Granny, that will keep the children entertained, and there’s a bottle of Moet & Chandon Champagne for mum and dad to pop open on Christmas day.
“There’s also a selection of Bayliss & Harding toiletries to help parents relax after the excesses of the Christmas period.”
However, the star of the hamper has to be a Dyson v8 cordless vacuum cleaner, one of the most powerful suction cleaners on the market.
“It’s stunning and has to be one of the best cordless vacuum cleaners that you can buy right now,” explained Laura. “It has a digital motor which gives it much more power, and it has a bigger bin so that you don’t have to empty it as often as previous models.
“It’s also light, so cleaning ceilings will be much less tiring, and it’s much quieter with a 50% reduction in noise.
“This will certainly come in handy when you’re nursing a hangover on New Year’s Day!”
Laura says that there will be plenty more goodies in the hamper, which the lucky winner will receive before Christmas.
Tickets cost £2.00 and can be bought in multiples of £10.00 up to £30.00.
Five tickets will help Caudwell Children to provide special sensory equipment that encourages movement, learning and communication in a disabled child; ten tickets could help towards a therapy session for a child with a brain injury, whilst fifteen tickets will enable the charity to provide training for a Volunteer Family Support Officer so that they can support families with a disabled child.
