Do you have one morning or afternoon free per week or even just a couple of hours per month? Would you like to be part of our small, friendly team? No experience? - don't worry we will give you all the training you need. The options are varied – administration work (we already have some friends of the Charity who come in on a regular basis – but we need more!), taking charge of some charity boxes, running a raffle, manning the Charity stand at events or open days, or helping with major events such as the annual Charity Ball, are just some examples of the ways in which you could help.

We aim to recruit a minimum of:

  • 1 Area coordinator for every region in the UK.
  • 10 Volunteer Leaders for every region in the UK.
  • 100 volunteer fundraisers for every region in the UK.

We aim to train and develop all of our volunteers so that they can make the most of this opportunity.

If you think you can help, and want to volunteer, some of the ways that you can choose to volunteer may include;

Events Assistants

We are currently looking for individuals around the UK to assist us at our Fundraising events. You could help with marketing the event in your local area, help with preparations before the events, assist with setting up, stewarding tasks, collections, guest liaison, event management, supervising a team of volunteers, fundraising activities and much more.

You will gain valuable experience in PR & Marketing and Events promotion.

Fundraisers

The Community Fundraising Team have always got an exciting calendar of events and initiatives for your community to get involved in and make a real difference to children in desperate need. Administration Assistants

You could help with the day-to-day running of the Charity by assisting within the office to process applications, research using the internet, creating and updating databases and assisting with other general administration tasks. This opportunity could provide you with the office skills you may require to gain future employment. This opportunity is based at our Stoke on Trent office, for further information please call the Volunteers Department on 01782 600443 or email: charity.volunteer@caudwellchildren.com
