We need volunteers and participants to help create an eye-catching show that represents the diversity of Birmingham and the entire Commonwealth by sharing music from our different cultures.
We’re running FREE fortnightly sessions in the build-up to Birmingham 2022.

What is the 'All Roads Lead to Alexander' programme?
We want to empower and encourage shared learning within families and communities by offering the chance to perform at iconic Birmingham locations – leaving a lasting legacy for the 2022 Commonwealth Games cultural programme.
The project is designed to empower disabled and non-disabled children people aged 8-25 who live within the West Midlands Combined Authority.
The programme is part of ‘Spirit of 2012’, an enterprise set-up to deliver a long-term legacy for the 2012 Olympics, and the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Families will have the opportunity to explore creativity in a fun environment at fortnightly sessions between September 2021 and August 2022 – culminating with performances around Birmingham to coincide with the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Why are Caudwell Children delivering this project?
The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games will be a global stage to showcase the talent and diversity of Birmingham and the West Midlands. We will use that global stage to foster new relationships within and between communities.
