We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Registered Psychologist who is an excellent team player and wants to work in a state of the art environment within a developing service that is part of an ambitious charity transforming the lives of autistic children and young people.
£18 million has been invested in our multi-award winning building and our resources are second to none. Families and children with autism were fully engaged in the design of the building and service, and we continue to use feedback from children and families as part of a continuous quality improvement cycle to develop and refine our service provision.
You will contribute to the design and delivery of our pathways for children and their families. You will take a significant role in assessment and formulation, the impact of this on the life of the person and those around them, make recommendations and provide guidance to children, young people and families including advice and support in relation to development and behaviour. Your work will include autism diagnostic and cognitive function assessments, report writing, interactive user friendly workshop preparation and delivery, all in the context of strong and holistic multi-disciplinary team working.
Our service is currently aimed at 4 to 11 year olds. We have a new service coming on stream for 16 to 25 year olds transitioning from education or further education into the digital workplace.
We research the effectiveness of our gold standard assessment programme and into the effectiveness of interventions provided and your work will be part of this programme.
