Service Evaluation Assistant
The purpose of this post is to set up, coordinate, and carry out recruitment, data collection, and data analysis for evaluation of services and therapies that Caudwell Children provide. The charity delivers services to any child with a disability, and are the second largest voluntary provider of specialist equipment in the UK. The Charity further deliver an autism diagnostic service accredited by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and in accordance with NICE guidelines. The research assistant will be responsible for participant recruitment for evaluation, acquiring informed consent, setting up and managing data collection (in person and online), and data analysis of outcome measures for services.
The role will involve ensuring that data is collected at correct time points, from the correct service users, in accordance with data protection guidelines, and ensure data is analysed in accordance with the data analysis plan to time and target.
Additional responsibilities will include (but is not limited to): running focus groups and qualitative interviews with families, carers, and/or service users; assist with integrating data collection with in-house database; preparation of service user facing evaluation materials; preparation of outputs and reports; analysing data and interpreting results of said analysis, and generating original ideas and potential service development based on outcomes; contribute to submission to peer reviewed publications; preparation of social media posts; and etc.
