Children’s Activities Week

Children's Activities Week

We’re so proud to be the charity partner
of Children’s Activities Week this year.

Children’s Activities Week
30th April – 4th May 2018

What is it?

Children’s Activities Week, is a celebration of the hundreds of thousands of activities, clubs and classes benefiting millions of parents and children every day across the UK.

Activities, clubs and classes are a lot of fun for all the family but they also offer many long term health, wellbeing, educational and social benefits too. This is why we’re so proud to be the charity partner of Children’s Activities Week this year.

How can I get involved?

With over 100,000 children taking part so far this year, the main fundraising activity throughout the week is #WatchMeFly.

We’re asking all parents and carers to dress up ready to fly when attending their favourite participating class, club or group for a suggested donation of £3.

80% of that donation will help us continue to transform the lives of disabled children by offering the life changing support they need to lead an active and independent life.

The other 20% will be donated to the Children’s Activities Association to help give more children access to activities across the UK.

We’re also calling on classes, clubs or groups throughout the UK to incorporate #WatchMeFly into their activities throughout the week. By registering you will receive a fundraising pack including stickers for all children, promotional flyers, a collection box and tips on how to use Children’s Activities Week to promote you and your activities to parents in your local area.

Who else is involved?

We’re not the only ones involved with Children’s Activities Week this year. Many famous faces and brands are supporting the campaign too.
