A host of famous faces including Danny Dyer, Stephen Graham, Calum Best and Lee Ryan are set to take to the field at Stoke City’s BET365 Stadium next month to help raise funds for disabled children.

Tickets for the celebrity football match on May 26th went on sale today (Friday 18th April) and football fans or autograph-hunters alike are encouraged to snap up the tickets soon before they sell out.

The star-studded game, which is being organised by Sellebrity Soccer and Caudwell Children with the support of Stoke City FC, aims to raise much needed funds to provide life-changing support for disabled children and their families.

Jason Levy, Director of Fundraising at Caudwell Children, said: “We’re very excited to be working with Sellebrity Soccer and Stoke City Football Club on this new local event. It’s a great, affordable, family day out and we are hoping the event will raise in excess of £30,000, which will fund practical and emotional support for a whole year for 25 families.”

Tickets start from just £6 for children, £12 for adults and kick-off is at 3pm on Sunday May 26th.

Caudwell Children is a national children’s charity based in Staffordshire. Founded in 2000 by local businessman, John Caudwell and run since its inception by Chief Executive, Trudi Beswick, the charity has helped over 42,000 disabled children with 650 different conditions.

This year the charity will officially open the doors to their most significant project to date, the Caudwell International Children’s Centre at Keele University. The centre will be the UK’s first purpose-built independent centre for assessment, support and research of autism.

Mrs Beswick commented: “Caudwell Children was founded in Stoke-on-Trent and we are very proud of our connection to the City. We are all really looking forward to the celebrity football match and having a really great family day out while raising funds for the charity.”

About Caudwell Children – https://www.caudwellchildren.com

To date Caudwell Children has provided services worth over £40million to over 42,000 children with over 650 different medical conditions. The charity is committed to changing the lives of children by providing specialist direct family support, equipment, treatment, supported holidays & short breaks and its autism service.

Caudwell Children was registered in March 2000 and is widely recognised as one of the country’s fastest growing children’s charities. Since its inception the charity has doubled every pound raised, achieved through supplier partnerships, which means every pound donated works even harder.

The charity was founded by philanthropist, John Caudwell, whose vision was to create a sustainable children’s charity that offered benefactors’ transparency and peace of mind that 100% of their donation was being used to directly change children’s lives.

By donating the cost of the charity’s annual management and administration overheads, John has guaranteed an efficient way for individuals and businesses to change the lives of thousands of sick and disabled children living in the UK.

John Caudwell remains the charity’s largest benefactor and holds the title Chairman Emeritus.

The charity’s ambassadors include Peter Andre, Joan Collins, Elizabeth Hurley, Sir Rod and Lady Penny Stewart, Rachel Stevens, Robbie Williams and the late Sir Bruce Forsyth.
