Date announced for 2019 Butterfly Ball
Caudwell Children is delighted to announce that next year’s Butterfly Ball will be held on Thursday 13th June, 2019.
The Ball is Caudwell Children’s annual, showpiece, fundraising event, and will once again take place at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Mayfair, London.
The Butterfly Ball has fast become one of the UK’s most exclusive charity events attracting worldwide media attention and a host of A List stars. It has firmly established itself as the ‘must attend’ event in the calendar of London’s glitterati.
With intimate musical performances in the past from the likes of the late, great, Whitney Houston to living legends such as Tina Turner, Rod Stewart, Sir Elton John and the two leading lights in Take That, Messrs Barlow and Williams, it’s clear to see that it’s not simply a fundraising event; it’s an extraordinary show of exceptional quality.
The evening sees guests mixing with celebrities on the red carpet before enjoying a VIP Champagne reception and a three course meal featuring the finest cuisine.
To date the event has raised a staggering £14.5 million for Caudwell Children helping the charity to provide hospital and in-house family support, specialist mobility and sensory equipment, activity days, life changing therapies and treatments and fully supported family holidays for children with life threatening conditions.
Last year’s event, hosted by Peter Andre, culminated in an exclusive performance by one of the UK’s most loved pop-stars and TV personalities, Olly Murs.
Tickets for the event are now on sale and corporate guests are being invited to purchase a table immediately to avoid disappointment.
With the headline and supporting acts yet to be announced it’s a certainty, with the pedigree of previous artists, that ticket holders won’t be disappointed by those who perform on the night.
The evening will again feature a prestigious auction, hosted by the renowned charity auctioneer Charlie Ross. This will bring an unrivalled opulence to the Ball, giving ticket holders the opportunity to win a host of money can’t buy prizes
Trudi Beswick, Chief Executive of Caudwell Children, said the Ball gives businesses the perfect opportunity to wine and dine those all-important clients and contacts. As she explained: “You would normally only get to see the acts that appear at the Butterfly Ball in an arena, surrounded by up to 10,000 screaming fans.
“If you buy a ticket to the Butterfly Ball you’ll experience something more like a private show. You can enjoy every move, see every rivulet of sweat, and smell the aftershave and perfume of the stars as they perform for a select audience. How many times have you paid to see one of your favourite acts only to be disappointed by an indistinguishable dot on the horizon?”
But it’s not just being up close and personal with the stars that’s so alluring. As Trudi continued: “For a large number of those in the audience, our charity auction is one of the highlights of the evening.
“Many of the ticket holders enjoy a lifestyle that affords them almost anything that they desire. However, there are some things that money just can’t buy.
“That’s what makes our event stand out from the crowd. How else would you get to enjoy Elton John’s Oscars party in Hollywood, or have dinner with legendary actress, Joan Collins? In the past we’ve even given guests the chance to bid for a walk on part in a Hollywood movie!”
The event also gives Caudwell Children’s Celebrity Ambassadors the platform to meet some of those who benefit from the charity’s services. For attendees the chance of an informal chat with such luminaries as Elizabeth Hurley, Peter Andre, Rod Stewart et al, during the course of the evening, is an enjoyable part of the Ball.
The events glitzy formality is contradicted by the approachability of all those who attend, making it a truly exceptional event.
