Autism affects over half of the children we currently support. It is our firm belief that through early diagnosis, training and research, we can help improve the quality of life of autistic children and their families. We are looking for committed, passionate individuals, ideally with experience of working with children and families, to support our multi-disciplinary clinical team in our new, independent, autism friendly therapy and research centre within the grounds of Keele University.
We have a full-time, permanent vacancy for an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team.
This a permanent post supporting the OT team and wider clinical team to deliver and support the sensory and functional needs of both children and families. Amongst many other things, you will assist with assessments and observations, including Sensory Integration workshops, deliver structured and unstructured play sessions with other assistants and contribute to the delivery of training to parents and other staff, both internal and external.
