Simon Webbe, the multi-talented actor, singer, DJ and music manager, who rose to fame in the boy band Blue in 2001, is to host and perform at an exclusive charity ‘London Ladies Lunch’ being held at The Landmark London, 222 Marylebone Road, NW1 6JQ, on Friday 11th October, 2019.

The 41-year-old, who sold over 15 million records worldwide with Blue, says that he’s delighted to be hosting the annual event in support of Caudwell Children, the national charity that provides practical and emotional support to disabled children and their families.

He’s supported the charity on a number of occasions including hosting Caudwell Children’s flagship fundraiser the glitzy Butterfly Ball, held annually at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Mayfair.

The ‘London Ladies Lunch’ is an exclusive afternoon of fashion, food, beauty and entertainment where guests enjoy Champagne whilst browsing stalls featuring local and national retailers of luxury goods; including handbags, clothing, jewellery and beauty products.

“It’s fantastic that Simon has agreed to host and perform at our London Ladies Lunch,” enthused Kate McMahon, Events Manager at Caudwell Children. “He’s had a fantastic career not only as a band member of Blue, where he secured two BRIT Awards, but also as a solo artist selling 1.2 million records and securing five UK Top 40 singles.

“He’s also starred in the West End, at the London Palladium, alongside Whoopi Goldberg, in Sister Act, and in the multi-award winning musical Three Little Pigs, at the Palace Theatre.

“Not only that he appeared regularly in the BBC drama River City, and has starred in a number of films including Rollin with the Nines, Everywhere and Nowhere, and The Truth About Love.

“He’s got so many strings to his bow, including being a superb host, and I’m sure that his wonderfully relaxed manner will add to what is a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.”

Tickets include a two course gourmet lunch, luxury goody bag and an invite to an After Party at the London nightclub Mahiki, just off Piccadilly.

The nightclub is the favourite haunt of royals including Prince William and Harry and celebrates such as Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Paris Hilton.

“Everyone who attends the after party will be welcomed with a complimentary cocktail,” said Kate.

The ‘Ladies Lunch’ will also involve a raffle, auction and silent auction, and with the opulent nature of the event Kate says there will be some ‘must-have’ goodies up for grabs.

Standard tickets for the London ‘Ladies Lunch’ are £190 per person, or £1,800 per table of 10, and include a glass of bubbles on arrival, a two course lunch, and a goody bag.

VIP tickets are £260 per person, or £2,450 per table of 10, and includes premium seating, a goody bag, a glass of bubbles on arrival, and an allocation of Champagne, wine, and water with lunch.

Since 2000 Caudwell Children has helped over 20,000 children with services worth over £37 million.

The charity is unique in that a single benefactor covers all the administration and management costs so that 100% of all donations go directly to the children it supports.
