Sports club sponsors Tuscany to Monaco cycling event
Arctic Elite Sports Club, an international organisation with offices in Moscow, Monte Carlo, New York, Miami, Dubai and London, has been announced as the headline sponsor for the Caudwell Children ‘Tuscany to Monaco Cycle Challenge’.
The challenge, which will see cyclists undertaking a punishing 200 mile route through the undulating Italian countryside and French coastal roads, will take place over three days from Friday 22nd September – Sunday 24th September, 2017.
The ‘Tuscany to Monaco Cycle Challenge’ will raise vital funds for the UK charity Caudwell Children. The charity provides practical and emotional support to disabled children and their families.
Kirsten Shore, Challenge Events Manager at Caudwell Children, is delighted by the partnership. As she explained: “It’ a great fit as the main objective of Arctic Elite Sports Club is to arrange sport leisure in Russia, and throughout the world.
“They make it a priority to focus on exclusive and comfortable leisure activities and whilst the Tuscany to Monaco challenge can’t be classed as a comfortable ride, it’s certainly exclusive.
“With former F1 World Champion Mika Häkkinen taking part in the event, which has been created in partnership with Olympic cyclist Modesta Vzesniauskaite, it’s definitely the cycle ride to be seen on.”
Arctic Elite Sports Club also provide training under the supervision of professional athletes, and they hold regular master classes for their community of active and energetic members.
“It’s a fantastic club,” continued Kirsten. “They recognise the achievements, in sport, of its members and they also provide family entertainment and superb animation programmes for children.
“But the club extends beyond sport and they also provide business breakfasts with unique people within the Club project. I’m sure that many of our riders will be interested in what they have to offer.”
Arctic Elite Sports Club President, Sergey Egorov, believes the partnership will have a positive impact on the cyclists. He said: “Arctic Club is a talisman that brings luck, success and, above all, happiness. Not only for members of the club, but for everyone who comes into contact with us.”
Modesta says that whilst the event will be a great experience it’s also, importantly, about the legacy. She said: “It’s about generating vital funds to support vulnerable, disabled children and helping to change their lives for the better.”
However, she also shares the same values as Arctic Elite Sports Club and says that the challenge will turn the dreams and thirst for adventure of the riders into reality. As she concluded: “It will be an experience that each rider will never forget!
“Through the beautiful, rolling, Italian countryside to the breath-taking Mediterranean coastal roads, we’ll look after them every step of the way.
“We even have a professional masseur accompanying the riders on the trip to help them get back in the saddle each morning, and ensure that they make it over the finish line in Monaco.”
