Rules

  • The following rules (“Rules”) together with Caudwell Children (“Caudwell Children”) terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) apply to the ‘Time To Shine’ Butterfly Ball competition (“the Competition”). The competition will run from w/c 6th March to the 13th June 2019 (“the Duration”).
  • Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from Caudwell Children.

Details of the Competition

  • To enter the Competition an Entrant must go to caudwellchildren.com/timetoshine  and complete the entry form with full details. All sections of the entry form must be completed including contact details in order for it to be deemed an entry.
  • The entry must be the song the Entrant would like to sing at the Butterfly Ball

Eligibility:

  • Each person/group can only enter in the Competition once each year
  • An individual/group cannot enter more than once under a different name
  • Employees of Caudwell Children and their immediate family cannot enter the Competition
  • Age limit is 12 years old and over
  • Entry for the Competition auditions will open w/c 6th March 2019 and close Saturday 27th April 2019. Senior Caudwell Children staff will select the final five entries. The top five Entrants will then be submitted to our celebrity judging panel for a final vote to decide the winner
  • The winner will then be invited to a rehearsal with senior Caudwell Children staff to perform their song prior to the event. The rehearsal will take place on an evening in May 2019
  • Entries received after 23.30pm on Saturday 27th April 2019 will not be accepted
  • You must to be available to perform at The Butterfly Ball on Thursday 13th June 2019 to be a valid Entrant.
  • Each Entrant under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Proof of age will be required.
  • Final performance at the event is subject to senior Caudwell Children staff approval.
  • In the event that you are invited to attend the rehearsal you hereby irrevocably grant all consents necessary for Caudwell Children to film and record such performance and to use recordings featuring your image and/or voice in connection with the competition/event
  • Should you be selected to take part in the Event you agree and undertake to enter into further contracts with Caudwell Children and you agree to abide by the terms therein.
  • All personal details and/or information given in your application either in the form or otherwise must be truthful, accurate and in no way misleading.
  • Caudwell Children reserves the right to disqualify you if you have supplied untruthful, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information, have failed to abide by the Rules and/or are in breach of the terms hereof.
  • You must disclose to Caudwell Children details of any criminal convictions and/or unspent convictions other than driving offences which have not resulted in a ban or more serious sentence. You shall notify Caudwell Children immediately if there are any criminal charges brought against you or if any information you provide in your application becomes inaccurate between now and the date of The Butterfly Ball.
  • Data Protection – We take your privacy very seriously. The information you provide about yourself as part of the application procedure may be used by Caudwell Children during part of the Event. If you are successful, this information may be used in connection with the production and promotion of the Event. By submitting this application form you consent to any information you provide, including without limitation any sensitive personal information, being used for this purpose.
  • The judge’s decision is final.
  • If successful, the winning candidate will be expected to cover cost of travel/accommodation if needed. Free entry to the event will be provided for the winner and relevant guardian.

  • If the winner is under 18 years of age they must be accompanied by an adult.
  • The winning act must be available to perform at The Butterfly Ball on Thursday 13th June 2019 at Grosvenor House, London
