Tandem skydiving is one of the most popular ways to experience skydiving for the first time.

Attached to a tandem skydiving instructor, you’ll jump from the aeroplane and freefall for around 50 seconds before your parachute opens and you glide back down to earth.

Wear loose, comfortable, non-restricting clothing suitable for the season and flat shoes or trainers on your feet that won’t fall off in freefall.

Don’t wear boots or jeans.

This depends on the sky dive centre, however usually a video package can be added at your own cost.

This is dependent on the various sky dive centres, but generally, spectators are able to attend.

We must have the completed consent/medical forms prior to commencing the training course.

Parachutists need a reasonable standard of physical fitness. We have minimum fitness requirements. All participants must be physically fit, fully self-mobile with a full range of mobility and able to lift their knees to their chest unaided.

Unfortunately, if you have a condition or disability which reduces your mobility, you won’t be able to skydive. Please contact your club if you are unsure, as participants will be assessed on arrival and will not be able to jump if the minimum fitness requirements are not met.

A group can sky dive on the same day, however this depends upon the availability for your chosen sky dive centre and date.

Contact events@caudwellchildren.com for your sky dive pack.

The maximum weight is 15 stones (95 kg) and you must not be overweight for your height.
