Noah’s mum, Kirsty noticed signs he might be autistic from a very young age, but when she began to seek support from his nursery, childminder, and the NHS, she was dismissed and labelled as a ‘neurotic first-time mother.’
Kirsty shared “Everything changed when Noah started school. Within his first four days, his teacher shared my instincts and helped us with Noah’s NHS referral, only to be told it had been refused.”
After talking to a friend, she was recommended to contact Caudwell Children.
“The whole process with Caudwell Children was so easy. Everyone I spoke to was so lovely and understanding. Noah absolutely loved his time there and still, almost 2 years later, asks when can he go back to the ‘autistic brain centre’.
Kirsty found our autism assessment and services hassle-free, providing her with a comprehensive report and information to support her with Noah’s EHCP.
“I would and have recommended Caudwell Children to other parents trying to get their child an autism assessment. Trust your gut and find people who are willing to fight with you. For us, that was Noah’s teacher and Caudwell Children!”
