Changing Children's Lives
At Caudwell Children, we believe every autistic and disabled child deserves choice, opportunity, and understanding.
Since 2000, we’ve been changing lives by delivering practical and emotional support to autistic and disabled children and young people across the UK. Starting in Stoke-on-Trent, we’ve grown our services to meet the real needs of families – from life-changing autism assessments to sensory resources, therapies, life skills training, and more.
We now support children and young people aged 0–25, and our mission is constantly evolving: not only to help families today, but to create a more inclusive world for tomorrow.

Service Delivery
In 2024, Caudwell Children delivered an outstanding level of support, reaching more children and families than ever before. While some areas exceeded targets significantly, others highlighted ongoing challenges where additional funding and resources are needed.
Our focus remains on increasing accessibility to life-changing services and ensuring every child receives the support they deserve. We are incredibly grateful to our funders, partners, and supporters for making this impact possible.

Volunteering
At Caudwell Children, our mission to provide practical, compassionate support to disabled and autistic children and their families is made possible through the dedication and passion of our incredible volunteers.
In 2024, their collective contributions have been instrumental in extending our reach and enhancing the lives of countless families.

"I've felt so welcome. Giving back, having fun and seeing the children progress is the best part!"

Purple People
At Caudwell Children we recognise that our work is emotive and our ambitions are great.
We want to change the world, and the only way we will achieve our goal is to work as a team and to work as a team we must look after each other as a family.
Our Purple Family.

"What is a purple person? Great question. I mean, really great!
Because purple people always ask really great questions. They bring their family, friends, and communities together, and they speak up for what’s right. They are kind and hardworking, and they love to laugh! A purple person is an everyday superhero!”
The world needs more Purple People.

Fundraising
At Caudwell Children, fundraising plays a vital role in helping us deliver life-changing support to disabled and autistic children and their families. Events like the Butterfly Ball and Children’s Activities Week raise essential funds and bring communities together to make a lasting difference.

The Life-Changers Circle
The Life Changers Circle, launched by John Caudwell, is a network of generous philanthropists each pledging £1 million over 10 years. We’re incredibly grateful for their unwavering support and commitment to transforming children’s lives.

We’re especially grateful to companies like Likewize, Radwell International, 1 Mayfair, Turner & Townsend, Mace, Halcion Express, and EE Smith, whose generosity and commitment continue to unlock potential for the children we support.

Charity Partner
“We chose Caudwell Children as our Charity of the Year because we know every penny raised goes directly to where it’s needed—and we’ve seen the impact firsthand. As a local charity, their presence in the community is incredible, and visiting the Caudwell International Children’s Centre was truly mind-blowing.”

Challenges
Each year, dedicated individuals and teams take on incredible challenges to support Caudwell Children. In 2024, 12 supporters completed skydives, one brave fundraiser took on a shark dive, and 33 runners achieved a record total at the London Marathon. Rohan completed an impressive 8-hour Badmintonathon, while Radwell International staff tackled a climbing challenge. Our COO, Nick, cycled the height of Mount Everest, and 13 more runners took part in events across the country – all helping to change lives.

London Marathon Runner
“Choosing to run for Caudwell Children was a no brainer for me. I’m a Dad of three happy children who love being active, however not all parents go through life bringing up their children quite so simple. It means a lot to me to raise much needed funds and to help children that face bigger challenges in both sport and the general day-to-day struggles that life throws them. I’ll be proudly running with my purple hair through the streets of London!”
